Bunny Ears

Here is an example of what every picture of the kids that we take now looks like. Ry puts bunny ears on everyone's head and I think Kayla is trying for bunny ears....but devil horns would be more appropriate!

Growing Up Fast

Kayla is my shadow. She is next to me all day long. She wants to do everything I do, help with everything I do (except for picking up her own toys), and ask a million questions while we are doing it. I love this age. Why does she have to grow up? Here is a picture of some play-doh cookies she made at Grandma Mynatt's house.

Video online from Ry's game

Our local newspaper has video highlights from Ryan's Championship game. Ryan is shown running to first base after being walked. The link is http://www.thenewssunonline.com/ . Look on the right hand of the screen to "video" and click on "Kendallville Youth Baseball Minor Championships. Make sure you click on minors - there are other listings that are for the major league. I hope everyone had a good weekend!

Reds Win! Reds Win!

The Reds beat the Dodgers in the Championship game 8-7 tonight in 8 innings! Ryan played great! In keeping with tradition in the Kendallville Youth Baseball Minor League, the winning team got to shave the head of their coach. We are so proud of him and his team!

Redding Winery

I wanted to post a picture that Aunt Barb sent me. Barb, Jeremy, and Michael transformed part of their basement one week while Uncle Dave was out of town working. It looks great! Dave has been making wine for awhile and sharng the fruits of his labor with us at family gatherings. Thanks for the picture Barb!

What a game!

The Reds won again tonight! They beat the Dodgers who are the best team in the league. The usual 5 inning game stretched out to 10 innings and we went through 6 pitchers! The kids can only pitch one inning. Who knew that little league could be this stressful? Next game: Saturday at 9 a.m.

Baseball Update: (Game 1 of the tournament) Ryan's team (Reds) beat the Orioles 8-5. Ryan had two hits, one strike-out, and 2 RBIs. Next game is Thursday night at 5:30 p.m.
I wanted to post my latest favorite picture of my favorite people in this world. I thought Chris might be feeling left out not having his picture on the site.....If you know Chris, you will be laughing right now since he only gets online during fantasy football season and to check out the weather. I took this picture on Father's Day.

Good news! The 2007-2008 Fall-Winter Stampin' Up! catalog has been released!!!! You are invited to join one of my "Stamp Clubs" - A stamp club is a group of 10 people that commit to order at least $15.00 in merchandise a month for 10 months. Beautiful weather here in Indiana today!

What a great day! Kayla, Ryan, and I met my best friend from high school, Elisha, and her daughter Kaitlyn. We hadn't seen each other in 4 years! That is way too long! One of my favorite things in life is spending time with friends and family. True friends are friends that you can be separated from for a long time and when you see them again you just pick up where you left off. I am truly blessed to have such wonderful friends. By the way....I highly recommend the Fort Wayne Children's Zoo! I hope everyone had a great weekend!
